This weekend sees the annual Leith 7s tournament, with 8 teams competing to lift the Carl Waugh Cup, and Plate, Bowl and Shield finals also taking place. We're delighted that all of last year's trophy winners are back to defend, or go even better, in Linlithgow (Cup winners 2014), Occasionals (Plate) and Edinburgh Eagles (Bowl), as well as first timers 45 Commando, Duns, Earlston and Moray House, joining host side, Leith, themselves looking to go one better than their runner's up finish in 2014.
As well as the 7-a-side action, Leith Over 35s will be taking on their counterparts from Inverleith at approximately 3:30pm - one not to miss for those wishing to take a trip down memory lane!
Away from the pitch, there is much to do for all the family, with inflatable sumo suits, rugby speed shot game, assault course, BBQ and of course, the clubhouse bar. The entire event will also be broadcast live on Castle FM, so get loud in cheering on your teams!
With free entry, good weather forecast and an open invitation to all of Edinburgh and beyond to come on down and enjoy the action, don't miss a fantastic day out at Leith Rugby Club!
