The 2nd XV are the club's sole focus this weekend, as the 1st XV enjoy a week's break from action, and the 3s continue to ice those muscles and joints they forgot they had (well, some of them anyway!). The 2s host Ross High 2nd XV in an 11am KO, ahead of the Scotland v Australia game at 2:30pm.
The two sides are familiar combatants this season, with both clubs having a 2nd team available each week, there has been one league meeting (29-21 to the Tranent men on the opening day of the season) as well as a friendly at Academy Park when both sides had no opposition last month (42-7 to Ross High). The third (and perhaps not the last) fixture between the sides promises to be another exciting encounter, as the Leith men continue to develop as a side, and will be hopeful of getting one over on the visitors for the first time this term. And win, lose or draw, it's into the clubhouse afterwards to see if Scotland can atone for last weekend's missed opportunity and claim a significant southern hemisphere scalp this Autumn.
See you on Saturday!
