Leith welcome Inverleith to Academy Park this weekend, seeking to build upon Saturday's narrow 10-6 victory over Liberton at Doublehedges. Our visitors got themselves up and running last weekend with a first victory of the season, with an impressive-looking 31-12 win over Earlston. The Arboretum-based outfit had begun the season with a narrow home defeat to Edinburgh University Medics before a couple of heavy reverses at Dalkeith and Portobello, so will be seeking to build on their improvement in fortunes last time out. The teams have faced each other many times over the years, and Leith will hope to continue their good form in the fixture in coming out on top in the last 3 clashes, including both league fixtures last season, having won the November game at Inverleith 13-10 and the home encounter 35-16 in April.
