Leith welcome Langholm RFC to Academy Park this weekend and following the postponement of last weekend's game at Inverleith, the boys are itching to get back into action for the final time in 2017. With Leith's last fixture coming nearly 2 weeks ago in the 2019 derby defeat to Trinity, there's all the more incentive to close out the year with a bang.
Our visitors from the 'muckle toon' have had an impressive season thus far casting aside a couple of years of struggle to sit 4th in the table, with 10 wins and 1 loss thus far this term, and with their eyes doubtless focussed on promotion back to East 1, from where they were relegated in 2014-15.
Provided the weather improves, a cracking game should be assured, between 2 sides who like to move the ball, and as ever your support on the touchline for the boys in blue and white is greatly appreciated - and for the last time this year! Clubhouse bar open from 1pm, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
The 2nd XV are also primed and ready to go - as soon as someone agrees to play them - and we'll update details once an opposition is secured.
Team news for both available on Thursday.
