Season Review
Post Pandemic our youth sections continues to grow. We now have over 100 youth members at Leith Rugby. We continue to have strong links with Leith Academy delivering rugby to all pupils throughout the school year and more recently have welcomed Drummond High School onto the programme. We continue to deliver rugby to 10 Primary Schools in the Leith area P4-7, all age groups getting 6 weeks of delivery and then getting invited to take part in at Rugby festival at Leith Academy. We now have established U14 boys and girls teams and next season we are planning on having a U16s team for both the boys and the girls at Leith Rugby all who will be playing weekly fixtures in the East region.
Volunteering
If you have some time to spare, whether it be on a Sunday or another day, we have a great need for volunteers. This can be from involvement in rugby-related activities and coaching aspect or to making food for the children, getting involved in the governance aspects of the section or helping with the digital media and advertisement. Whatever your skill set there is a role for you at the hawks. Please contact leithhawks@gmail.com for more
